How do I get inspired?

I read. I listen to other people's life story. The events of their lives and how they were handled. There's a saying "Whatever you say or do will be written down."

Where did I get my idea for Beyond All Lies?

Beyond All Lies was inspired by the group of friends I made in college. We were our own band of misfits and the shenanigans we got into helped to create the realm of Creltis.

How do you deal with writers block?

I read an unhealthy amount. I read great books, and awful books. I read books about different subjects than I'm writing and the same subjects I'm writing. The greatest research an author can do is read!

What advice do you have for aspiring writers?

Write, every day. Get it out there. It doesn't have to be perfect or correct, but getting it on the page is what matters... editing came come at a later date. Once an idea is out there you'll be surprised at how your creative juices flow.
